Fundraising To Recruit Health Care Professionals
Our Challenge
Renfrew County has one of the lowest ratios of physicians to patients in Ontario with only 120 physicians per 100,000 residents. Our goal is to bring a total of 14 doctors to the Renfrew & Area community to serve our current and future needs.
Our Success
Community support of this program has been outstanding!
Our rural community understands the importance of recruiting physicians and maintaining first class healthcare facilities. To date, twelve new physicians have been recruited and are now practicing in Renfrew and Area.
